keeping it open…

We join some class or some course to help us know things better, i.e. to learn something, to completely understand things by filling the blanks between the half knowledge that we already possess. For this we should have two things, one is to have the urge and eagerness to learn and second is to have an open mind set towards whatever is going to get into our heads. Most of us have a preoccupied mind which already has a little of the big mass which still has to get in and we think that this little is actually the whole mass. This leads to have a closed mind set. We need to make ourselves understand that there are things that we still don’t know. We can’t always think that we are the most knowledgeable and others contain none.

When someone younger or equal tries to tell us something related to something in which we consider ourselves ace, we don’t take that in because we have programmed our mind saying that we know things and someone younger to us cannot possess a better understanding of this ‘something’. The younger ones knowledge may be right and may also be more than ours, but we never pay a heed. Mind you, this is our loss and not anyone else’s and we need to understand this. We keep ourselves in dark by not trying to understand other’s things. In the effort of keeping our ego firm, we lose everything which would enhance our skills and knowledge or may be even our destinations or goals.

It is really important to keep a free mind so that we don’t end up losing something which would have been easy to achieve. there is no harm in knowing things even though we don’t use the gain ever in our lives, but lack of them can anytime create troubles. Be smart in choosing. Choice is yours!

Cheers to life, cheers to you…!
