life in a metro...

Beautiful rains, green grass, rain washed muddy roads, the fragrance of the earth...

What! Hello! Come out of it now! It’s no use thinking about all this! Why? Because it’s not far that you won’t be able to see any of it. All this urbanization! It’s going to kill all the fun of the rural life. Even the rural people think its worthless living in a village. But, what’s wrong if they think so. They have no facilities! No electricity, no food. Nothing! Nothing at all! And our government also doesn’t bother.
These people don’t realize what valued treasure they are wasting. Everywhere concrete jungles, fancy restaurants and huge shopping malls! That’s what we see and want nowadays…Lying down under a night full of stars in the light of the beautiful moon cannot be enjoyed in a polluted suffocating city. It can only be done in a beautiful full of energy and highly oxygenated atmosphere and that can only be found in our darling rural areas…
I remember I had recently been to Malshej Ghat. I had fallen down from stairs some 2-3 weeks before n was suffering from back ache. The falls in the ghat were just miraculously beautiful. Miraculous for this reason that after bathing in the force of that water my back ache reduced like anything! And I was back with more energy n enthusiasm…thanks to the mind-blowing climate, the rain, the mist, and the cold. Rather everything about these places is so pleasant that you just can’t keep being happy! One more thing is that the cold climate at these places is also good for health; you feel healthy!

But, sadly all these places are facing commercialization. All the nature the beauty the greenery is getting replaced by concrete! This all is the fault of our urbanised people. We just don’t want to adjust. Here also we keep on thinking about the precautions and what not! Come on people…just let go yourselves. There are people around you who are drinking the same water, eating the same food around you and they are definitely at better health than you are. They don’t drink the chlorinated and contaminated water that you drink, they drink water in its pure form eat food in its pure form they live a very much healthy life all their life.

Just for once try being at such a place. May be your native or some rural part of your state. Not my native. It’s Goa! And I guess you understood by the name itself. But still in south Goa you can find this beauty too. So the next time you go to some rural place forget all your problems and let them share their…n I am sure…they would definitely be more grave than your! Make them feel you are one of them. For a change keep your egos aside and LIVE. Try being at home. Because this is OUR HOME!

Cheers to lyf…cheers to you!
